SHS is seeking a Nursing Home Administrator for a beautiful Continuing Care Retirement Community(Non-Profit) located in central Virginia. The campus sits on over 50 acres and caters to Independent Living, Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing residents. company is very sought after to work with and prides itself on quality of care, forward thinking, its strong mission and its devotion to it’s residents and staff.
The LNHA will be responsible for the 5 Star Rated Skilled Nursing Center on the campus to include a small Assisted Living component . This community offers compassionate person-centered care, concierge-level service, and quality-of-life activities while achieving high quality medical outcomes for post-acute and skilled nursing care, Alzheimer’s/dementia care, and rehabilitation services.
They are looking for an enthusiastic and innovative team leader to manage our post acute nursing facility. The ideal candidate will have a love of healthcare and geriatrics and a desire to lead this facility into the next generation of healthcare facility.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Plan and direct operations of the facility based on policies and regulatory standards.
• Full responsibility for all aspects of care provided to residents and for the facility’s environmental functioning, ensuring quality.
• Direct the hiring and training of employees.
• Direct the activities of the medical, nursing, technical, clerical, laundry, housekeeping, maintenance, social service, activity, and volunteer staff.
• Optimize reimbursement.
• Administer budgets and ensure profitability.
• Attend meetings with staff, families and residents.
Job Requirements:
• Candidate must possess an Active LNHA license (Virginia) in good standing.
• 3-5 years experience.
